When you do something different people may not like it. A person, who read my book, asked me if I would conduct a motivational session using excerpt my first book 'Version One and a Half'? My ans was 'no'. My ans was followed by another question from her; So why write the book? My ans was: I don't write to preach, or to motivate someone, & i definitely don't write to please others. I write because I like it, I write because I feel like writing & I write because I love to share. I definitely don't intend to use my books to conduct motivational sessions. That put her off big time but here's my point. These days everybody seems to telling others what to do & how to be happy & successful. I don't intend to follow what other authors are doing, I intend to follow what I want to do. Is that bad? I don't think so. Doing something you love, & doing it the way you love is best you could do. I am doing it, are you?
